Ben Davis
Ben DavisChief Executive Officer
After a decade in enterprise sales with Fortune 500 companies such as Xerox, Parametric Technology and EMC, Ben left the corporate world to become an entrepreneur in Silicon Valley, following his passion for sports and technology.

In 2003, Ben co-founded Pixiem, which was among the first of its kind as a developer and publisher of mobile video games. The company’s customers included ESPN Networks and Wimbledon. In 2005, Pixiem was acquired by WinWin Gaming.

Ben co-founded Phizzle in 2006. Formerly a professional basketball player in Europe, he currently resides in San Francisco. Ben is a graduate of Walsh University with a BA in Business.

Stephen Peary
Stephen PearyChief Financial Officer
Previously, he served as Chief Financial Officer and General Counsel for FPX, LLC and its predecessor Firepond, Inc., a publicly-registered OnDemand SaaS-based software company delivering complex business solutions.

Stephen also served as Managing Director of Liverpool & London Protection and Indemnity Association, a mutual manager of marine assets and liability risks located in Liverpool, England and as Senior Vice President at PLM International, Inc., a publicly-registered company managing diversified investment portfolios.

Since 2003, he has served on the board of directors of NCIRE – The Veterans Health Research Institute located at the San Francisco Veterans Administration campus chairing its finance committee. Mr. Peary holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Illinois, a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and an LL.M. in Taxation from Boston University. Stephen Peary has served as Chief Financial Officer for Phizzle since July 2011.

He is an avid backpacker, has been to all fifty states, was at the “Bucky Dent Baseball Game” and remains a Liverpool football fan.

Michael Patrick
Michael PatrickChief Science Officer
As Chief Science Officer, Michael Patrick brings nearly three decades of experience in the design of complex videos systems to the Phizzle team.

Michael earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He then began his career designing communication systems and overseeing government contracts for the United States Department of Defense. He is the recipient of two U.S. Government Scientific Achievement Awards.

For the past 13 years, he has provided consulting services to Chyron Corporation, where he continues to expand upon new features and enhancements to Lyric, Chyron’s character generator software. A recognized expert in the area of custom software solutions for the broadcast industry, Michael’s expertise has made him a trusted resource to clients with diverse sets of network production needs, from studio and truck-based sports productions to television news. His extensive list of satisfied clients includes Turner Broadcasting, Turner Sports, Fox News, The Golf Channel, Sky News Network, NBA Entertainment and the Cowboys Stadium production team.

Moe Motamedi

Moe is an accomplished technical business leader with more than 18 years of experience working within mobile markets of North America, Europe and Asia.

He has managed mobile product launches and software releases for carriers such as Vodafone, Orange, Verizon, Sprint and handset manufacturers including Samsung, LG, Nokia. Most recently oversaw operations of Lightsquared’s LTE sandbox which included building an ecosystem of partners responsible for creating future mobile broadband services.

Moe has worked at early stage startups in the mobile and wireless industries helping pioneer mobile video, mobile music and mobile advertising services. Prior to Lightsquared, Moe was the Executive Director of Technical Marketing and Carrier Operations for Amobee Media Systems, which was acquired by Singtel and part of management team at PacketVideo and Moderati (Faith Inc). Moe hold a BS in Electrical Engineering from University of California at Davis and an MS in Electrical Engineering from San Jose State University. Moe holds a patent in areas of wireless video compression.

Prior to joining Phizzle, Stephen founded Kloudroot, where he led a team of highly-skilled consultants specializing in integration, architecture, and platform development. Stephen has guided numerous Fortune 100 companies through technology and organizational change on an enterprise scale. Stephen’s previous organization roles included Senior Consultant/Chief Architect for the CRM Practice for Statera and Infrastructure Program Manager for Red Hat.

Stephen was a speaker at Salesforce.com’s annual Dreamforce convention in 2008 and has been a guest speaker at the University of Denver MBA Program, “CRM Strategy”.

Drew is a mobility business development and product strategy expert with more than 17 years in sales, marketing, management consulting, account management, legal services and product strategy development.

Drew most recently worked for Wipro Technologies as a product strategy consultant to large telecommunication and media companies. He specializes in breaking new ground by creating mobile and digital products and strategies for both wireless carriers and application developers.

Drew holds a J.D. from the University of Washington, as well as a bachelor’s degree in economics from Eckerd College, where he was also honored as a Ford Foundation Scholar.

Jeff Ryznar

Jeff brings to Phizzle more than eight years of experience in developing marketing and advertising programs to strengthen and elevate the awareness of national brands with customers.

Previously the Director of Strategic Marketing for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Jeff was responsible for developing, collaborating and executing marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and sales while implementing new technologies to streamline business processes and enhance fan engagement.

Prior to the Cleveland Cavaliers, Jeff was the Regional Account Supervisor for Lowe Worldwide/Martin Jay Advertising, where he oversaw the Buick/Pontiac and GMC local marketing groups and was responsible for the advertising operations of 16 dealer groups and over $18 million in media billings.
